Becoming Visible: Confidence, Career Risk & Owning Your Story
Becoming Visible is a live, 90-minute workshop designed to help you build confidence when visibility feels risky or scary.
Drawing from her experience as a former HR leader, keynote speaker, and woman living with a physical disability, Emily will guide participants through a powerful and practical framework for showing up more fully — at work, in relationships, and in the creative risks they want to take.
This workshop blends personal storytelling, reflection, and actionable tools. It is designed to be interactive and candid. There will also be time for guided reflection and live Q&A.
Together, we will explore:
Why high-achievers and underestimated professionals often self-censor
The internal narratives that keep us small
How stigma and social conditioning shape our confidence
Practical strategies for advocating for yourself without losing your integrity
What it looks like to take up 10% more space in your life
This event will take place live on April 8 from 6:00–7:30 PM ET on Zoom. Registration is $99, and space is intentionally limited to 75 participants to preserve depth and interaction.
About Emily
Emily Goodson is a keynote speaker, former start-up HR leader, and author of Dating Disability: 15 Stories of Dealing with the BS and Building Confidence. After a brain injury at age eight resulted in partial paralysis, she developed a lifelong commitment to helping others understand disability as a lived experience that shapes identity, mental health, and leadership. She now works with organizations and individuals to build confidence, deepen inclusion, and challenge the narratives that keep people small.
Refund Policy
Due to the limited capacity and live format of this workshop, all registrations are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant with advance notice.
